What is free without an account
The guest editor gives you the canvas, layer tools, adjustments, text and shapes, built-in templates, undo and export. Drafts live in this browser’s storage, so closing the tab does not immediately throw the work away, and nothing is uploaded just to edit.
What a free account adds
A free account stores projects on the Pixopea server, keeps version history and unlocks AI tools. The current free plan includes 50 credits per month, subject to daily and monthly limits, with 20 projects and 500 MB of storage. Administrators can change plan values, so the pricing section shows the live catalogue.
Where credits and paid plans fit
AI jobs consume credits. Built-in jobs cost zero or one credit; generative models cost more and run only when an administrator has connected an external provider. Paid plans and one-off credit packs exist for people who need a larger allowance, more projects or more storage. None of them changes how the core editor works.
