Online graphic design with editable layers

Pixopea is a photo editor and a design canvas in one. Start from a size preset or a built-in template, replace the image placeholder, rewrite the text and export the exact dimensions a social platform or print job expects.

Stays in your browser

Your file is opened locally. It is uploaded only if you save a cloud project or run an AI tool.

Templates for common formats

The built-in library covers social posts, stories, banners, thumbnails, posters, A4 and common screen sizes. Templates use editable text and vector shapes with bundled fonts, so there is no stock-photo licence attached and every element can be changed.

  • Instagram, Facebook, X and LinkedIn sizes
  • YouTube thumbnails and channel art
  • Posters, A4 and web banners
  • Full HD and 4K screen canvases

Design with text, shapes and images

Place a photo, mask it into a composition, add a headline and shapes, then use adjustment layers to make the image and type work together. Layers can be grouped and reordered, so a layout can be duplicated and adapted for another format.

Export at the size you need

Export presets cover PNG, high-quality JPG, web JPG, WebP, social feeds, stories and video thumbnails. The output-size read-out warns when a canvas is too large for the browser before you commit to the export.

Common questions

Does Pixopea include stock photos?

No. Templates contain text and shapes only. You bring your own images, which also means you control their rights and licences.

Can I save a design as a reusable template?

Signed-in users can save a project as a template from the File menu. Guest edits can be exported as .ais or PSD but are not added to the account template library.

Can I design without signing up?

Yes. The guest editor can use built-in templates, layers, text and shapes and export the result. Cloud saves and account templates need an account.
